frames to build up for a short rider
It's been a while since I've been here on BikeForums and after a long, cold, on-going winter here in Korea, I have learned to appreciate rideable weather and street conditions. I'm looking to put some more miles this coming spring, summer, and fall.
Anyway, my question is I'm looking for a frame to build up for my little sister. She's short, only 5'1. She fits a 46cm Surly CC, eTT 529. She also tried out LHT but didn't like its stable ride. She would use it mostly for college campus commuting, leisure rides, and possibly touring. Which sporty frames would you recommend besides Surly CC and Soma Double Cross?

Initially, she wanted a Soma but then she changed her mind, thought it was wimpy or less capable than other bikes. She's not a girly girl. Maybe she doesn't want to appear that way. I think the Soma BV looks sweet! How would it do touring?
edit: she also thinks the new Hospital Foam and the old Robins Egg on the CC looked ugly and black as boring and the color on the Double Cross doesn't rock her boat. 17 year olds...=/
Personally, I see nothing wrong with a black bike.
