HM Bike Line

I maybe posting this in the wrong section but H&M just released their Bike line today. I wouldn't mind trying out the pants and the shirts. I am an animator so I kinda get to wear what I want at work and what I wear is kinda like stuff in the line. I didn't like Levi's Commuter line. Everything was too stiff.

Looks like good stuff for city commuting.

No stores in the Memphis area dammit. I absolutely will not order clothing on-line. My wife does, but not me. I must try it on before I commit to paying for it.

I went and checked it out. Nothing special. Some of the items are quiet nice. I even bought a few but they're not geared towards cycling whatsoever. The weather should be good for my Monday commute so I'll report back.

I did a quick review on my blog if people want to check it out : https://wildsheepchase.com/hm-for-bri...review-part-1/

I am wearing some of the clothes now and will doing a full review on them towards the end of next week. I've already found some major design flaws that I can't believe they let slide.

Would you mind saying something about the jackets? I know you said they suck but what exactly about them is so bad?

Of course, they only have men's clothing.

Guess DTC gets to keep receiving my clothing dollars.

The materials of the jacket feels and looks cheap. The cut is nice and I like all of the pockets and the cool little things they did. Unfortunately to keep down costs the material of the jacket suffered a big hit. I just looked at the site and it's 100% polyester. If they borrowed the fabric technology of a company like North Face or Mission Workshop this would definitely be one bad ass jacket.

I am by no means an expert on the subject but I am pretty spoiled since I have a Mission Workshop Orion. Hard to compare anything to that jacket.

On a semi related note

I'm looking for a nice pair of work pants that are waterproof like the Levi commuter line, problem is those are pretty hard to come by these days.

You guys know of any other nice urban commuter pants?

Urban Outfitters tend to stock those. I haven't been there in awhile though. Outlier makes some rad stuff but is super expensive.

Wow, that's really cheap at €29.95/39.95 for the bottoms.

However, it better be better quality than the usual H&M crap, which looks good new and then like crap one year and 6-10 washes later.

The chinos and shorts look interesting. I've never even heard of H&M but there's one in Miami, I'll have to go take a look. Thanks stayfed!

Visited the Miami store today, but they didn't have any of the BLB clothes yet. I'll try again in a few weeks...
