what did you ride and how did you transport your electric bike? or does the electric bike have an autopilot setting? if so, did you follow it or did it lead?

19 degrees... damn Central Europe climate! Welcome to Bike Forums Axelle, enjoy the good weather... we'll get those temps in a month or so. Maybe.

A few days ago I was doing the outbound leg of my commute and I picked up this rider way ahead. This doesn't happen often. I don't see other riders most days so I sped up to investigate. Within a few minutes I had reeld him in. Young guy, about 1/3 my age but pudgy. I wondered why it was so hard to catch him and then I saw his hub motor. Then I started wondering why I was able to catch him at all? Not only did I catch him but I pulled out ahead and he never did catch me back. I'm re-thinking that e-assist purchase I have been schmoozing 'she who must be obeyed' to authorize.
