2009 Giant FCR 3 price

Hello. We are looking for a used bike for my 5'11" wife to use in an upcoming mini-triathalon. Given her riding abilities, I dont think a real, road race bike is for her. I've been looking at hybrid bikes, but most of them lean heavily to the mountain bike side. I like the FCR 3 because it leans more to the street use and commuter side. There is a nice looking 2009 FCR 3 for sale, asking price is $300. The bike is the XL size which has a C-T of 58.5cm so its might be too large. Would you guys mind commenting on my thinking and the price?

Bring someone with you that knows more about Bikes condition is unknowable in a word.

supply a Link to the whole parts list for those Bikes Back then,

If It cost $700 new and it's in Very good to unused condition , then $350 is OK

Thanks for the reply. What do you think about the logic of using this particular bike for an un-experienced bike rider in a mini-triathalon? I figure the easier shifting, the wider tires, and the posture would be better suited to someone new to biking and more accustumed to riding a beach cruiser.

Size and fit relative to the rider is unknown and I've never seen those bikes.. though Giant is truly giant.

they are one of the companies invested in by many Imported bike brands to make their bikes bearing other brand names..

seek help from someone that can see the bike and how she fits on it..

Just writing on this site is a poor choice for that..

I've ridden an FCR and I really liked the feel of it. See if you can arrange a test ride for your wife to see if it does the same for her.
