Finally Commuting Again Tomorrow
I bought my new bike on Sunday. I had a toothache start on Saturday and had to go to the dentist on Monday I was in so much pain and my face was swollen. I ended up having an emergency root canal because my old root canal got infected. Since I have been on pain killers I could not ride. Anyway I finally get to hop on my new Trek 2.1 in the morning. I can't wait, I feel like a kid at Christmas. Anyway good luck and safe riding to everyone commuting this week.

In the right lane
Hope you enjoy your first commute. Although, please remember that all subsequent rides will also be enjoyable. At least they have been for me.

It went well, I did get a little wet in the rain but the bike is dried off and I didn't melt. Our town has a race to the beach going on. Everyday you run, ride your bike, take the bus you get miles. Today is an Ozone day so I get double miles. They draw for prizes every week. At the end three people win a trip to the beach. I hope I'm one of them.

nice incentive!
My work pays me $20 a month to ride (only april-october). its great it cover tubes and other wearable items.
Glad you got on the bike today its a great way to start the workday. even better when there is a tailwind and you catch every green light

Glad it went well! I started commuting a few weeks ago myself, and am enjoying it so far. Also really enjoying the money I'm not spending on gas!
That is a cool incentive, good luck winning your trip to the beach. Nothing like that here, it's just personal satisfaction.
