My experience too. Women are so much cooler about most things. There would be fewer wars. If we could just get men out of the picture (except for me of course).

Women are also the opposite of yelling. They often smile and wave in a way that charges my ride.

Ignore. Someone of that calibre does not warrant my attention.

The only times I ever had a car make a point of yelling at me were women. Actually, the most memorable event was two women - driver and passenger (it was the passenger doing the yelling, and she had a set of pipes on her -- I understood clearly that she wanted me on the sidewalk).

I've had occasional honking, including a car full of teenage girls, once. Overall, though, this kind of behavior is pretty rare for me, but I also spend a lot of time on bike trails, and my street time is mostly in the downtown area, where bikes are commonplace.

I'm a fan of ignore it or smile and wave.

I like the one's that yell "Nice Legs".

That said, most of the time I've got the tunes on, and I've yet to encounter a human voice loud enough to be noticed over my cranked up bluetooth.. It means I miss most of the whistles, compliments, and honks of approval and admiration, but my ego doesn't need the help.
