First Commute!

Today was my son's first commute to his preschool - all of one block but he was quite excited about it ..
Ready to go ..

Are you keeping up?

Almost there, and he knows it!

I managed to get my finger in the lens in two of three photos - not a good photography session, but hoping there are many more such opportunities

A responsible parent would've have packed up the car and driven that block...don't you know how dangerous cycling is?!?! Shame on you.

He's riding on the sidewalk! Oh well.

Did you ride, too, or walk along?

Walked along. And I guess you're just being humorous, but just in case you aren't - riding on the sidewalk is legal under 12 in California.

He's adorable. He's loving life. I think that guy was joking about the car ride. His sig and the little smiley face give me that impression. There is a section in my commute that I ride the sidewalks when raining. One time a cop told me only children can ride there and I told her I was in my second childhood(I'm 49) She laughed and let me go.
