Hey guys, I was wondering how you all get a suit/shirt to work?.

These are available. Not bad.

I fold my shirts after ironing and pack them away in a courier bicycle bag. I have used the above bag to carry a dress suit and shoes etc. It does work. Be careful of heel strike when you cycle i.e bag hitting heels at back. Also you would need to have a carrier on back which is suited to carrying touring paniers, having something which blocks the bag from swaying in and hitting wheels

I have never used These on a bike commute (don't have to wear nice clothes to work

But I have used them extensively for carry on luggage while flying with excellent results. I have several of the Eagle Creek products and can reccomend them highly.

Take a week's worth to work and leave them there. Then your commute is suit-free.

i'm with the eagle creek suggestion. travelpro makes a one-suit bag that can wear like a messenger bag, but it sucks for carrying anything else. when i wear a suit, i also need to consider the shoes that go with, so its a big messenger bag for me.

it also depends on the length of your commute and how long/often your clothes will be in a wrinkle-y bag.

I've had good luck rolling up a suit bottom to top to keep it relatively wrinkle free (not for cycling but low volume traveling)

I bought a carrying/folding case for $12.50 from Walmart.

Works great. Slip clothes in fold over rear of bike, bungie down.

I have an Eagle Creek Pack-It, the mid-size one, that I have used extensively for business travel and commuting. It does a fantastic job keeping starched shirts wrinkle free. The size I have will accomodate numerous shirts or a shirt or two plus slacks and jacket. Once or twice I have put my suit in it, and it seemed fine. If I had to take a suit to work on my bike on a regular basis I would probably look at one of the tri-fold garment bag panniers.
