In need of therapy

I think I need help.

Whenever I get out on the street, whether I'm tired or not, I get sucked into pedaling as if I'm trying to run away from something.

There has been quite a few times that I've headed off on my commute thinking "I'm not feeling all that great today. I'll take it easy and just cruise to work." Somehow I manage to do some of my best times on those days. I can't convince my legs that there are other speeds that a bike can go.

Hi All,

LittleBigMan, I ride the same way . I can be returning from a long ride dying from the heat but I just have to sprint away from the last 3 stoplights from home. I have tired riding at a slow pace but it drives me crazy! I know I should cool down towards the end of the ride but I cant stop.

Ride Safe....Dudley

Hey MC,

I must have missed something? I'm not sure if I should be honored or unsettled after all it's not every day one's nickname makes it into someone else's signature.

It's all done with smoke and mirrors. See the Happy Birthday Bobsled thread in The Lounge.

Well thanks for the disclaimer! I'll have you know I only seminate information, never disseminate. I ate the shredded remains as per your request. Now what?

Well, saw the thread, still did find it amusing. Oh well! Like I said, I was away for too long and didn't know what was going on.

Eventually you'll pass those remains and it'll make it difficult to sit on a bike seat for a while.
