I must say that attractive colors are rather out of character for Surly and makes me wonder if this is some sort of impostor.

This is my commuter. It has Hope Pro II hubs and 7 close-ratio cogs in the back. I just replaced the Shimano R505 brakes with TRP Spyre brakes.

Is it hot? Don't know. Can't tell. Take a better picture without pointing your cell phone camera into the sun and we'll rate it for you.

It's a Cross Check, where's the fat tires? If you wanted a road bike, why not buy a road bike? I know that everyone's hands are different, and not everyone has my good taste, but those bars, the kink in the drop especially has always made me want to punch a puppy.

I don't love this as much as everyone else seems to. Something about the angles of the stem and the handlebars just doesn't look right.

I like the artistic shots but there's a problem. I sort of imagine myself riding in the environment that's presented and I'm not sure I want to be hanging precariously from a balcony.

What?!? Those tires were great.
Anyway, the best feature of this bike was the color, but for some reason I could never get the color to properly show up in a picture of the whole bike. It looked like this (at least when I bothered to wash it): http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2580/4...52b5a037b6.jpg You can mostly see it here: http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2629/4...1a0e3c11_z.jpg |

http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=335611 Not my style of bike, but I'll definitely give you a "hot"! :thumb: Needs fenders and some way to carry a load for full hotness points for the Commuting sub-forum. |

http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=335695 Is this a submission? Points for location shot, but something about the kiddie playground at that location strikes me as bizarre. No points for that bike. |
