Hey Merton! (And others who like a good lock)
I just bought this today. It's an Abus Granit Extreme Plus chain lock with an Abus security rating of 25. It's 140cm and weighs under 5kg. Heavy, but I see hauling all this weight as training for fun rides this summer. I know a guy who works at a motorcycle shop. It was over 50% off! Around $100 total. They had the U lock version as well, but I thought this would be more versitle.
What do you think? Can this lock be cut without power tools in less than half an hour? Enjoy the shots.

Yeah, I remember this style from my motorcycle days.
These locks are especially effective. Each link rotates along its axis, so sawing though it without holding it in a vice is practically impossible.
A diamond saw may make quick work of it though...
