hat suggestions
In anticipation of Spring, I'm going to start getting some cycling specific clothing. My first goal is headgear. I plan to get a helmet because I want to start riding with a club that requires one. Much more importantly is the choice of what to wear under the helmet. I'm bald and shave my head so warm weather riding brings a LOT of problems with sweat stinging my eyes. I've been watching some videos of folks riding the Great Divide Trail and most or all of them are wearing a hat under their helmets. I've never paid much attention to people's riding gear so maybe this is very common....I don't know. What material should I look for? I want something that will keep sweat from rolling down into my eyes. I thought about just getting a bandana but surely there are specialized products that will do a much better job.
Thanks!
Thanks!

If you're looking just to manage sweat, you don't need a hat/cap. Something like this should work under a helmet- https://www.sweatgutr.com/sports-sweatband.html.
Hats/caps are good at reducing glare from the sun and keeping your eyes dry- up until it is saturated (from sweat or rain).
