I could use some warmer tights, but doubt it's worth the price (and the probability I'll lose them before it gets this cold again). Much over 100, though, maybe I should rig up one of those battery-powered spray bottles the kids used to have for swim meets on my bars.

I rode in -8 with a -35 wind chill. It was a learning experience, learning not to do it again.

I just bested my personal low by 2*F (new record -16*F) this week. I have a fairly short commute (2.5 miles), so the cold is just beginning to encroach by the end (mainly my fingers). When I had to go across town at -13*F on Wednesday, I hopped a bus when I could no longer feel my fingers while riding.
