Have only forgotten socks so far but it doesn't seem like a big deal to go commando for a day.

I now keep extra clothes at work just in case.

I once forgot shoes. It was inconvenient and embarrassing.

This is why I love working at a hospital. There's always stacks and stacks of clean scrubs to change into in the locker room...

I've done that before. Working all day as a car mechanic in SPD's is not fun.

I haven't forgotten any article of clothing for a long time. However, the fact that I typed that sentence means it will happen today . . .

In the last office jobs I had, the spare clothes I kept there was complete: underwear, socks, trousers, shirt, tie, jacket, and shoes. I might not have had a belt. I don't even wear a jacket or tie normally, but what the heck. It's nice to be prepared for unlikely needs when it's not costly.

I keep "emergency undies" in my pannier at all times. I started doing that after I got caught in a rainstorm coming to work and had no dry underwear to wear (I don't wear special underwear for riding, just the normal boxer briefs).

I keep spare underwear in my work desk drawer. It makes for an interesting conversation when I forget it's there and open the drawer while someone is standing in my cube.

That's the best policy, my shoes stay at work as well. And soap, disposable blade, comb and clippers just in case.

The funny thing is though, since I've kept spares of everything at my desk I haven't forgotten anything. Before that, I would forget underwear, pants, belt, company id, anything possible.

Yep! I'm then garage's weirdo... I have a bad joke about it: I'm like a gay gynaecologist, I work with it but don't like using it (told you it was a bad joke)

So far socks is the worst thing I forgot, but now that I am typing this I am sure I will forget something worse tomorrow.

I keep jeans and shoes at my desk. I bring shirt, underwear and socks when i ride. I really keep meaning to leave some spares at my desk...better do that before i forget something else

I leave a couple of changes of clothes at work. They do not go home until there are replacements there for them.

I keep spare clothes at work ever since having comparable problems. A bigger problem for me is occasionally forgetting my keys, which lets me into the storage room where I keep my clothes and gear.

I've used a USB cable as a belt for a day. Left shirt untucked so I didn't look like a homeless dude.

Option #2 would be to buy pants that fit.
