Not sure how a chain guard would look on a road bike. Especially wearing a kit. They other kids might laugh at me!

I'll go out on a limb and say that whatever coolness is displayed has nothing to do with chain guards.





And maybe being cool has more to do with what you're made of rather than how made up you are:
