Singing in the rain

Had my first ride in liquid precip in quite awhile.

It was nice.

I won't like it as much next month.

On one post a long time ago, the subscriber described the water kicked up from the road as a mixture containing oil, road grime, and liquefied road kill. :p

Don't fear the cycle of life! Embrace it! The oil in the bicycle chain and the lube in the bearings all came from ancient road kill. Every drop of water we drink has been animal pee at some point or other, in addition to being a soup of animal corpses and poop from land and sea. Most yummy fruits and veggies have grown thanks to the defecatory efforts of many animals. We ourselves can be thought of as nothing more than a mobile home apartment complex for microbes that have lived with us since we were born, and without which we would probably get sick and die.

Cleanliness is for the untidy of mind! Embrace the animal earthiness of our origins! ;)

Speak for yourself! Our drinking water in this area comes from an amazing aquifer way down below the ground! Memphis is known for some of the best drinking water in the nation.

Farther south in MS the water comes from the MS river and man, that stuff just looks nasty compared to our water.

Heh heh! Your aquafer cannot save you from the cycle of life!:innocent:

While I wouldn't fill up my water bottle with that stuff, I doubt getting a little spritzing of it in my face now and then is going to kill me.

Here's somebody who can relate. ;)

If I squint just the right way while looking out the window, I don't see any snow at all. I'm hoping this rain can take out a good chunk of what's left.
