Pants kept getting stuck on bottle holder??
Not only is it annoying its quite dangerous. It gets stuck and won't let my leg have much movement. I have to do weird things with my legs together it off. It dosnt do it whole a drink is in there, only when it's empty. Anyone else have this problem? I guess it's only when I wear my work pants. Or any pants that are looser at the bottom. Suggestions fixes??

Keep a bottle in the holder, use a band around your cuff, or roll up the cuff, or tuck the cuff into your socks.

Keeping an empty bottle in the holder 100% solves the problem. Otherwise, if you don't plan on using the holder, remove it.

I've used a pair of these since '79, they work great. Just last year purchased reflector velcro straps to wear at night with or with out pants. Oh, and you're lucky your pants haven't wound themselves into the chain yet. That's a real bummer.

If your cuffs can get caught on the water bottle holder, they can get caught on the chainrings. 3rd recommendation for the cuff clips for work pants. Then you can focus on riding normally.

I use 2 leg bands, the right for keeping clean and out of the drive train, the other because it would bump against the bike as the wind hit it and would really bother me...

All of the suggestions will work. When I commute to work I wear cycling specific pants or shorts so I encounter the problem, but sometimes if I run out at lunchtime to grab a bite to eat and I forget my leg band I can encounter this problem. One less economical solution is to look for a bottle cage with a different design. Certain bottle cages are more prone to this problem. In general, I just try to remember a leg band or one for each side.

I just do the "bike commuter tuck" and insert the inside part of my right pant leg in my sock. Free, takes 2 seconds to prepare or undo, don't have to worry about carrying or forgetting anything, and as a bonus it keeps pants from getting any chain grime on them.
If you have issues with both legs in getting caught in the bottle holder, you can tuck both pant legs.

I've used velcro straps to tie my pants, I've rolled them up, and I even bought a leg shield. The latter make my leg too sweaty after a few miles though. Worked great in the morning when it was cold though.

I use all of the above techniques at various times.
I always bind both trouser legs, because there's still a chance the left can snag on something. Plus it makes me feel symmetrical.
