2014 NBC - Endomondo not syncing ?

A bunch of us are having problems of Endomondo not syncing to the 2014 NBC. Endomondo says that it's connected to NBC (settings/connections) and NBC says that it's syncing, but nothing is showing up for anyone in NBC even though we have miles for just about every day showing up in Endomondo.

Has anyone else experienced this and found a solution? Are the problems limited to just Endomondo or are the other apps having problems as well?

Thanks,

Mine is syncing fine, but I have to manually go in and click "Sync Now" on the NBC site. After that, it usually takes a few minutes for the update to show.

I've had to do that too.

Done that. Still no miles. I think this website was designed by Obamacare folk.

I have synced twice so far. Once just before the challenge started and again last Friday, 2 days into the challenge. However, I haven't been using the Endomondo app. I import my Garmin data into Endomondo and then NBC pulls that in from Endomondo.

But I really just replied to this because I like saying Endomondo.

The first time I synced, I had to authorize NBC on the Endomondo side. If you go here (https://nationalbikechallenge.org/account) and scroll down to "Authorized Apps", is Endomondo checked?

Mine works as advertised. I use the phone app. When I log into NBC, it syncs, then it takes about 5 min before my points and summaries update. I did have to authorize the app using the link spivonious gives.

You've got a lot of nerve to criticize. Every thread you post that stupid link in gets shot to hell with all the carriage returns in the hypertext markup. Stop it.

Not a link exactly, some kind of video. All kinds of junk script around the image. Gone now I see... kind of like the roll-out problems with "Cover America".

I didn't post any image or video, only simple text. A-Z, a-z, and 0-9. Wonder if an ad is causing you problems? Firefox has been having some problems with them lately if you're using that maybe switch to Safari, Explorer, or something.

Yes, Endomondo is checked. It seems it may be limited to people who've signed up in the past 2 or 3 days. That could be two to three thousand folks from our company which concerns me because the vast majority will try to sign up, get frustrated when it doesn't work, and just give up.

I guess it will impact few at our company. VP of HR got kind of hip to this thing and was going to do a big push to 72,000 U.S. employees.

She signed up last weekend, rode every day, ran in to these same Endomondo problems of nothing showing up on NBC, couldn't get help from NBC, League of American Bicyclists, or Endomondo, pronounced having to sign up for another site to get help on a public and non-private forum something designed by idiots, and then said that when bicyclists get their act together in a few decades to let her know.

What a huge missed opportunity for our company and for bicycling. Thanks League of American Bicyclists, National Bike Challenge, and Endomondo.
