Flybike Straight Inner tubes

Anyone have tried this yet?

Fix a flat tire without taking off the wheel? Sounds like a great idea to me.

I can see this being useful if you have wheels with a nutted axle and you don't feel like bringing a 15mm wrench with you.

I do that all the time with my patch kit. Well not that often actually.

The main complaint I've heard about these tubes is that there's an uneven spot where they join that you can feel as a bump while riding.

This is per Amazon ad;

"Designed so that there is no change in feel when rolling over where the tube ends meet"

False claim?
