Bike lane is irrelevant.

Just another illegally parked car.

Usually, towing isn't worth the effort as in most countries on the continent, the license plate is connected to a bank account and just automatically deduct the money.

One example ... for the final version, they got rid of the transponder and it's plates only

Both, and I suggest you read my response again; you apparently were/are unable to recognize sarcasm unless it is literally spelled out for you.

Which country routinely ignores illegally parked cars that are blocking traffic?

England for one.

This is the prototypical street level situation where the whole country has been converted to a single lane ...

That won't be necessary. I simply wanted to clarify that you were intentionally being insulting in case you didn't mean to be. The decent thing to do was to give you the benefit of the doubt, which as it turns out is a waste of time. And more than you seem willing to give others.

No, it won't be necessary for me to read any more of your posts. You have demonstrated over and over again that your modus operandi is to insult others.

TNT.

I did spot the /sarcasm note in PatrickGSR94's post. I interpret this as an invitation to continue the thread with lame attempts an humour (or even humor, which is a lesser word - though only by one letter)

What's your point, that there are lots of legal parking locations in England? Your reference doesn't indicate much else.
BTW, several of the pictures show the same type of towing truck in operation in Merrie England as is used in Paris.

That across most of the country that the "parking" does obstruct traffic down to a single lane, which doesn't allow two cars to pass.

Are you in a bad mood recently?

ILTB asked about illegally parked cars... are those cars parked illegally?

Well of course, ticket the illegally parked cars. No need to block the road and probably cause traffic jams just because of an illegally parked car.

Although, with the truck blocking traffic, cyclists can probably just go around while the cars are stuck behind it, and then the truck can be blamed for blocking traffic instead of cyclists.

Ticketing along doesn't always solve the problem. There are people who simply don't pay them. One of my wife's students graduated owing the university over $10,000 in parking tickets and just left the area without paying.
