this really chaps my hide

Literally. I keep my clothes 'n stuff in a locker at work to help with the commuting. So today I was changing for the ride home and found somebody had "borrowed" my tube of chamois butt'r. I can only assume it was either an act of desperation or a twisted prank.

I'll tell you what really chaps my behind. Cold damp weather. And.... it's that time of year here.

Kind of interesting ... I haven't, nor have any of my colleagues, required chamois butt'r for commuting purposes.

I'd be more concerned that this might mean there's one of these in the office...

I loves me some chamois butt'r, that stuff is magic for a long day in the saddle. I guess you and perhaps you pilfering co-worker must have a long commute. I never wear padding or need the butt'r for a commute.

They probably thought it was hair gel and that points to Michael Douglas as the perpetrator.

I found that someone used my towel as it hung during the day in the locker room to dry. It was in a different spot and wet. that really grossed me out.

I have used Chamois butter once and have never found the need for it on my commute and even when I rode the GAP this summer I did not use any. 30-40 miles a day
