I'm an engineer = Geer
My expertise is water = Hydro
I'm also mocking the online gamers who used to substitute numbers for letters in their screen names to look cooler. So Geer -> G33r.

Just expressing my love for cycling and kitty cats.

My real name is Christoffer and where I live it's normal to be called Stoffer (pronounced stuffer in english, like the fetish ). An old friend of mine saw the similarities with the word 'tougher' and thought it did fit me well, for some odd reason.

One of my many made up names.
Tubby - cause I carry a few extra pounds around (less now due to biking and running)
Slinger - a St Louis late night treat that causes the above condition.
from wikipedia:
The Slinger is a Midwestern diner specialty typically consisting of two eggs, hash browns, and a hamburger patty (or any other meat) all covered in chili con carne(with or without beans) and generously topped with cheese (cheddar or American) and onions. The eggs can be any style. The Slinger is considered to be a St. Louis late-night culinary original.

so sinbad jr, was a weak kid who would turn into a muscular super hero when he pulled really really hard on his belt around his waist. originally he had a magic ring (from a geenie I think) but it didnt have enough appeal so it was switched to a belt. what kid didnt know about the power of daddy's belt.
It only ran for a year or 2 in the 60's and was stopped because kids were causing abdominal injuries to their friends and themselves from trying to tighten their belts enough to become super.
The confusing part is I was born in 71 and I remember watching this cartoon as a kid (maybe on the commander tom show). I guess there must have been a warning about the dangers of his actions?

My name is also Christopher, I have no middle name. In 3rd grade we played a game where we tried to guess one kids middle name, if you got it right then the class would try to guess your middle name. I guessed right one time and the teacher asked me to whisper in her ear what my middle name is I told her "topher" she got a pretty good laugh out of that.

Apparently when I was a kid and learning to talk, I mispronounced my name (Eric) and it came out sounding like (rerock). It quickly became my family nickname until my friends heard it about it; then it stuck.

From The Who/John Entwistle song "The Quiet One". I am extremely introverted and was always known as "the quiet one" when compared to my brothers. It just kind of stuck.

Resident smartass.
Mine was thought up by a friend. How FAR would I GO, to get what I want? The answer to that is: As far as I have to. Sometimes a little TOO far.

My partner's kid (15 years ago now) decided that she wanted a white cat for her birthday. Since she couldn't pronounce 'white', she called it a 'wipe kitty'.
We found this very amusing, and when we adopted a white kitten a few years ago, decided to call it the wipekitty to give her a hard time. Since I love cats and it makes absolutely no sense unless you know the story, it became my new screen name.

I tried to find the short story from which my handle originates, but I have not been able to find it. I actually think I wrote it on a typewriter and it is in a box somewhere in North America.
