Hot r Not - Holiday Edition

Post your holiday themed commuter bike pics. Whether they be fat bikes in the snow, bikes you received as gifts, bikes you're giving as gifts, bikes that are decorated, or even bikes that are decorations. The only restriction is that they should be "commutable".

If you don't know how this works, be prepared for praise, suggestions, and best of all, good natured ridicule. I will start with a bike that only looks good for about a month out of the year, and then only if you're in the right mood:

Put a bow on it and place it front of a fireplace (if available).

... mounted on the trainer of course. It's supposed to be a fun thread, a sense of humor will be rewarded.

Maybe Santa will leave me a Functional Camera ..

BTW , it mostly Rains Here. hard to do selfies of me in my rain gear. And it's probably not that interesting.

any how the red and green thing is a nice combo for the 'I wouldn't Ride that bike in this... season' Image.

Yes, rain might require some extra creativity. As far as a lack of a camera goes, all I will say is that I had to borrow a green front wheel for my picture because the front wheel normally on that bike is black.

If I can find somebody with a green front wheel, you can find somebody with a camera.

A friend Decorates the Family Moose Head Trophy on the wall

and We get together then food drink and camaraderie 12/12 this year .

The Different set of friends on the 25th

The living in a tiny apartment when My Mother then Father Died , I had no place to put all that film , slides and such .

so I let it Go. My Own touring trip pictures are sparse, as film was a expense then too.

So be it .

Ok, so I will make a rule change. A pic of a decorated animal head (preferably from a moose) may be substituted for a bike, though only if said animal has already been beheaded. (No animals should be harmed).

Beautiful pictures (really like the Iredale shipwreck) but didn't see a moose or a bike.

Hmm... we actually have about an inch of snow here right now. I should put something together as that could easily be it for the season...

Of course it counts !

From a commuting perspective it's hot. Got all the bases covered from panniers to a dynohub. From a holiday perspective, we've got some snow in the background, - good ! You just need to be put some festive lights on it or something.

Doesn't need lights if it's leaning against a Festivus Pole!

Given the small number of pics so far I guess we'll have to accept it, even with the triathlon inspired forward offset seatpost.

Yes, it's an interesting design... with the saddle/seat-post connecting directly off the seat-stay instead of the seat-tube. :-)

Was that from this year? If so, you have a lot more snow that a little farther South (assuming that's St. Cloud). I used to go to school there. Where was the pic taken?

Anyway, +1 for snow depth, -1 for not riding it into that spot.

Ooo, yeah, red & green lights! The frame is a rich & deep metalic green that color shifts to a nordic red...
