I like it. 1949 fillet brazed Schwinn town n' Country. Schwinn built between 50 and 1000 of them in the 40s, 50s and 60s, depending on who you believe. I think it numbers at least a few hundred. They were primarily Boardwalk bikes.

It rides surprisingly well, though it eats free wheels, spokes and cotter pins for lunch. It's taken me a while to get it just what I want, but I used a white industries free wheel that's much tougher, we had some custom THICK gauge spokes built, and that seems to have helped address the spoke issues. The cotter pins...you have to live with.

Here's a photo where you can see it a bit better:

That is from about 2 weeks ago a lot has melted now. And I did try to ride it that far over the bridge but couldn't make it. Maybe on the fatbike?

I have to admit that I'm disappointed. I expected way more submissions than this. There's been a few bright spots like the tandem that was a triple, but the thread has been reduced to accepting bike themed door mats and decorated moose heads.

What's wrong with you people? Yes, that the triple-tandem is tough to beat but surely there are other worthy holiday bike photos out there or just waiting to be taken.

I am technologically illiterate and have no idea how to make words on my pictures. I did figure out the blurry edges! This call for a celebratory scotch.

Merry Christmas from JoeyDuck and his whole quacking family.

I have to admit I didn't see the bike at first. I will give you credit for creatively incorporating a Christmas tree into a bike picture.

Like how the matching bar tape and fenders contrast with the blue bike.

A project for tonight. I honestly was hoping the Microsoft picture manager or whichever I used would have the ability, but alas I was wrong and gave up.

I can't find where I stowed the christmas lights that I normally put on my bike! I'll post up a pick when I find them!

It is a plastic fender extension. Lol I wish it was a motor when the snow is that deep.

Here's mine. My Hardrock is a festive alpine green all year round, and the only way you'd know this has anything to do with the holiday's would be if I told you the picture was taken yesterday while I was able to get in one more last ride around the forest preserve. And did so on the bigger tires I use during the early and late parts of the riding season. Ho Ho Ho!

This is all I've got so far; I needed a new pic for Facebook. On my ride in this morning, I was thinking about decorations. I think I'm going to try and find a small plastic 12" tree with battery powered LED's to mount to my rack. Good times!
