5 cups first thing- one with breakfast, and the rest in my trusty Stanley vacuum mug - stays warm all morning.

Taking my time reading the newspaper with a double espresso made with a semivintage Brasilia Cappuccino and a huge San Marco Grinder. Wifes brother sends some good beans from the other side of The Big Island. (much cheaper than Kona, almost as good.)

Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee is my favorite. 1 cup before I leave the house and 1 or 2 cups during the work day. No coffee after 3pm for me.

The wife hand grinds and french presses beans from a local shop called Beanetics. I have one cup of that before heading out in the morning. In the early afternoon I "brew" a cup of black tea (Earl Grey, English Breakfast...). Its' amazing that with even this minimal amount of caffeine intake I'm "addicted." I know this because if I skip a day, major headaches occur.

I get the nice brewed coffee from Nossa Familia or Caffe Umbria at work because I don't want to have to wake up one minute earlier than necessary so I tough it out without coffee until I get to the office.

I usually have some coffee in the morning before I ride to work, with almond milk and stevia. I have a regular coffee-maker, no special devices for coffee... I spend too much $ on bike stuff & have to work toward saving money in all other domains of life...
Sometimes, I don't have enough time for a cup of coffee before I ride and I keep some chocolate-covered espresso beans for those times. During the colder months, I usually do try to have something warm at work also. Sometimes that is decaf coffee, regular coffee or tea, depending on how I am feeling.

We just bought a new grinder for beans. Man! I cant remember what kind they call it but it's not the kind that has a little spinning blade on top that chops all the beans to dust. It actually grinds crushes the beans and damn!!!
Best coffee I ever tasted! (burr grinder?) so good!
Anyway two cups of that before the ride. A thermos full for the rest of the day that fits the cage. Has a pop- top for easy sips while riding. And today On my way home I realized I left it at work. Sweet!

I typically was making a coffee at home and keeping it on my bike in a Contigo insulated cup however it has been so cold that I have had to wear my balaclava which makes drinking it during the commute hard. Then when I got to work it would be too cold. Today - I make a tea and adjusted the balaclava so I could still drink it on the way to work. I like drinking on the way to work but it is a short ride some days (when it is too cold to go much further).
