Hey all, Im looking to switch the 700X32 tires on my '06 poprad for something a bit slimmer, maybe around a 700X25. I use it mostly for long commutes but the bike lanes in Tucson and pretty rough in spots and with plenty of glass. Any suggestions?

Conti Gatorskins might be a first choice. Specialzed Armadillos is also another possibility.

You'd do better asking in the commuting forum, even though its a cx bike, your usign it for urban warfare

Better yet, use search. Is a lot of threads on best tires.

I've had really good luck with Panaracer Tserv for Messenger tires. Very grippy, no flats so far (6 months - year).

Bontrager hard case tires would be a good choice.

Bontrager hardcase 32's are bigger than the stock Jones cx 32's.. just a bit of info..

and alot heavier. . not that I notice the weight anyway. but they feel indestructable compared to the jones' which felt like old socks when I took them off.. I feel safe with the hardcases!!
My Panaracer pasela tourgards sucked. I got 5 flats in under a month. no joke. steer clear of them.
