Pinarello CX Frame/Fork
I am considering buying a 2001 Pinarello Aluminum frame and steel fork. Does anyone have any knowledge about the frame/fork or recommendations one way or another? Also, the bike is used and is described as being in very good condition . . . any idea on value? Thanks, Ron

Yeah, I saw it on roadbikereview. The paint job looks great, but I am a little suspect of the frame quality. I also think $350 is a little steep. Any opinion on it? Thanks, Ron

I had a steel Pinarello and the workmanship and design were first rate. I converted it to a touring bike for a friend and she loves it.

I test road a red aluminum model a while back, I think it was a 2002. The handling seemed very stable, yet responsive. I remember watching ex world champion Daniele Pontoni race cyclocross in Portland in 2004. He didn't seem to have any trouble crushing the competition on his Pinarello.
