Best price on a Cross Check frame?

Are there any deals out there on the Cross check frame? The best I could find was at Jenon, $390 with free shipping.

Thanks,

Eric

you want just the frame?

what size, year, how much you willing to spend with shipping? shipping will be about what 50$ from Canada to USA on average for a frame.

I was hoping for a new frame/fork combo. I think MSRP is $410, Jenson is $390. I would need a 58cm, but I want to get new so I can leave the fork uncut.

Thanks,

Eric

I think the real question is: What do you consider a fair price? MSRP is about $400, They don't seem to go for much less on ebay even used.

Tim, agreed, and even if I find it for 350$ CAD add shipping and customs on that and your local taxes and it ends up being the same price.

+1000

A quick word on economics in general and Surly in particular, When a product is in short supply because of desirability, the price increases. That's the law of "supply and demand." Surly frames are in short supply because they are VERY POPULAR. They are popular because of their low price and their high-perceived quality. That means, it's gonna be real hard to swing a deal on one. Econ 101

Good luck

a site, edinabike.com, used to have them for $303 (late last year) but now they're $410, which i guess is MSRP...i think Surly might have some sort of price control to protect LBSes from online retailers (i heard Chris King does the same thing)
