I had wondered what highliter color they would go with this year. My money was on a nice electric pink for the snake. The new style looks good, but seems more befit a steel frame.

No, Sora is still a thumbshifter. Looks like Kona put Tiagra on the Jake. I agree--very smart move. The Sora was a big turnoff when I was looking at the Jake.

Tiagra shifters on the Jake is definitely a nice upgrade. I was surprised to see they went with a solid color instead of painting the stays black. I'm especially excited about the carbon kona p2 on the JTS.

I'm not a big fan of the new color scheme, looks kinda like a Lemond ripoff. I know Lemond's wern't the first, it's more of a clasic look, but I don't think it fits Jake's very well.

Didn't last years JTS, and MJ have carbon seat/chain stays?
+1 on going to Tiagra on the Jake, well played.

The Major Jake had carbon seat stays, the JTS was all aluminum.
On the new MJ they've either painted over the seat stays or maybe gone with the full scandium frame from the Major Major...I'm curious myself.
