crossbar with classic bend?

crossbar with classic bend?
Just picked up a cross bike but it came with a drop bar with anatomic bend which I am not that fond of. Anyone has a recommendation on drop bars with classic bend for cyclocross?

I really like my Nitto Noodle bars (from Rivendell). They don't flare out significantly (if at all), but the bend is super comfortable, and they come in wide sizes, which ought to be nice for 'cross. I much prefer these to the Salsa Bell Laps on my other bike.
The secret to the Noodle is that the area just behind the brake hood is quite flat, giving you a nice, roomy area to place your hand.

I have a Ritchey WCS OS Classic bar on my bike. They are light, fairly strong, and cheap. I don't like the flared out bars myself....

Do yourself a favor and check out On-One's "Midge" drop bar.
They distrubute un the US through ZedSport (and through them numerous local bike shops).
My LeMond Poprad shipped with Bontrager CX drops (specially designed for cycocross by Keith himself, apparently).
Despite their "CX" designation, they are a conventional drop bar. When I discovered "dirt drops" I soon found my way to On-One's site. Then a day later (I love the internets!) I found a LBS with ONE left!

It's a fabulous handlebar. The difference in feel, comfort and sense of control and security-- especially off road-- was like night and day compared to the Bonty handlebar.

I'll submit another endorsement for the On One Midge bar. I've yet to find anything else that is as comfortable for an hour in the drops. I also find that I get much better control riding the Midge in the drops than just about anything else on the hoods. The down side is I didn't find it as comfortable for long rides on the hoods so I just keep it on my race bike.
I also run the Nitto Randonneur on my pit bike/commuter. It's very comfortable with a decent degree of outward flair but a pit heavy. I find it a better option for the commuter since its more comfortable on the hoods. They also seem to run a bit narrower than advertised.
For my road bike I run the Ritchey WCS Classic because I don't like ergo bars either, but for cross I prefer a bar that flairs out.

Hmm.. I actually have both midge and nitto randonneur and I tried the nitto one yesterday but it is simply too little space on the top I think to be able to fit the extra brake levers and stuff. I have thought about the midge but I also plan on getting rid of my roadbike so I would like something that is comfortable for long rides as well. I'll give the ritchey classic a try!
