Lookin' for a little direction and input...
Picking up my new Jake the Snake on Tuesday and I can't tell you the last time I was so excited about something! Anticipation is killing me.
It's been 14 years since I've done any consistent riding. I'm 32, in very good shape, but realize that means little to cyclocross conditioning.
A few questions:
Is it too late to get ready and ride in some races this year? I'm in Portland, OR. (I believe the Cross Crusade Series is here?)
Do they have novice/beginner/training wheel divisions?
I love training! Any groups that train together, or specific publications, books, etc. that focus on training?
Just looking to have some fun and challenge myself!
Thanks for any and all input.
Cheers,
JR

A little late but ... No, it's not to late. Get out there and race! If nothing else, use the races to train for the Nationals - in Portland for the next two years.
