What size tires will fit this wheel?
Mavic CXP-22 w/CNC sides
I thinking about buying a bike with these rims. Right now it has 35c tires on it but i'm thinking about going smaller because of doing more road riding. What range of tires will fit at what size would I need to get new wheels? It is a Felt F1X frame. Thanks for your help.

You should probably get wider rims if you want to run 29er tires or narrower rims if you want to use 19s at 120psi. These things aren't real fussy. Sheldon Brown bequeathed to us a chart https://www.sheldonbrown.com/tyre-sizing.html but most any normal 700C rim will work with most any normal 700C tire at normal inflation pressures. That rim will do fine down to 23.

Yeah I saw that article but I wasnt sure how to interpret it. I dont know the interior rim width and I cant seem to find that. Is there something I'm missing?...are you saying the 35mm are too big for the rim they are on? are these normal road bike rims with cyclocross tires on them?...meaning a road tire would be a better fit? Thanks for your help.

What Ronsonic is saying is that your 35s are fine, and that you'll be just fine with 23s for your road riding.
Mavic has the specs for your particular rim here:
ETRTO compatible size: 622 x 15c
Recommended nipple length: 12 mm
Recommended rim tape: 622 x 18 x 0.6
Recommended tire widths: 19 to 28 mm
Valve hole diameter: 6.5 mm
So you can see that 35s are a bit more than Mavic recommends... they're just being cautious. There are many many people running 35s or wider on your rim or rims of that size. I have run 42s on the very similar CXP33 and the same width Open Pro with no ill effects. 23s are in the middle of the recommended range.
