Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

You understand wrong. I don't care either way. Others might, and supplying misinformation does them no good in making a decision on what bike to purchase.

Your sanctimony is quaint. Regardless, the 09 cross comp is the same bike as the 09 windsor cyclo. Kinesis factory specials from Tawain.

My goodness, I own an 09 CC, and the frame is not the same.

And I have the Windsor Cyclo and the frame is not the same. You must own both and know better than us. And I know you want them to be the same, but they are not.

This is quite an interesting argument. My children do this too.

Did anyone ever consider that two bikes can be welded on the same jig and therefore have the same geometry, but the tubes are different? Different shape, different butting (that's fun to type), different alloy. The same guy n the same factory may do the welding. Another guy may paint the bikes two different colors.

The question, is, Does it matter who is right? One of you will ride one bike, the other will ride the other. From everything I have seen about the bike industry, the frame is just the hunk of fancy metal/carbon that you get to bolt the truly expensive stuff too. The same frame, with different logos (Comp vs. Pro Vs. Team) seem to very in price more on their componentry then on their frames.

I own a 2005 Fuji Cross pro. I bought it off craigslist a year ago. I ride it. I race it, I crash it WAY too much. I have a good time on it.

Instead of continuing this "discussion", or even adding any more posts so that it stays near the top and unsuspecting knuckleheads (like myself) click on it, consider this:

Wouldn't you rather be riding your bike, than arguing about it?

Go get dressed, get your bike out and ride it all over the ball fields and playground at the local elementary school. Smile. That's better.

Edit: Oh, and if you can't go ride right now because you are "working/at work right now," then get back to it, get done with your work early, go home early, and ride the bike.

I feel so small now that I've been compared to a child (god). When I'm not riding a bike, I think about bikes, along with some other knuckleheads, and that leads to some boisterous though not unhealthy arguments on occasion.
Anyway, I'm upping the ante: If anyone can provide me with hard evidence that the 09 Windsor Cyclo is not the same bike as the Fuji Cross Comp, I will eat a dog turd.
BTW: Fuji calls it a "PowerDiamond down tube" while Windsor calls the same thing "Biaxle", and it is not round no sirree.
One minor caveat - mr.smith.pdx has a point in that different tubes could be used at different times. I'm sure all the Fujis are the same but the Windsors may have differed depending on production runs. While Bikesdirect was selling them, they did say that you would be getting either a 7000 or 6000 series aluminum frame.
I rode the hell out of that Windsor while I had it. It was a great bike that took a beating and never complained. The alex rims stayed true when I thought they should be tacoed.

Good advice.
