Scattante Questions
Anyone riding a Scattante Cross XRL...what size tires are you able to run? Also, do you have to use a top pull FD? If you are using a bottom pull one, how does that work-looks like it would need a top pull FD? Thanks!

Riding like its 1990
It'll fit the 700x38 I have fine. I have built one for my wife with full 105 components, bottom pull FD. The frame comes with a pulley for the FD cable to go from top route to bottom pull.

Great, thanks!! How does your wife like the frame? Does she use it for casual riding or off road (or both)?

Riding like its 1990
I built it for road use but she wanted a cross bike as she's heard me talk about their versatility.
She wouldn't know what feels right or wrong about it. I have 700x28 on it right now for her.
I was impressed with the frame when I built it and wouldn't hesitate to get it on sale if I were to build another bike for myself.
