Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Camp grounds at the 2013 World Cyclocross Championships : Louisville, KY

A couple of friends and I are considering renting an RV and going to the Worlds. One of them is intending to compete in the Masters.

I contacted the 2013 organisers who seemed clueless about the existence or provision of camp grounds in the area or even the need. Seems an omission for an event of this kind.

Anyway, anyone got any idea about what is available there? OR maybe it's just not practical.

Yes, I tried Google, thank you ...

There is a KOA in Jeffersonville, IN. - this is probably your closest
If you can find a Walmart you can usually camp in their parking lot.
There are a couple of Indiana State Parks just north of KY - Deam and Charlestown
