Replacing stock crankset on a Crosscheck

Hi guys. I would like to add some bling to my 2013 surly crosscheck. I'd like to swap the crankset for something higher end and more attractive, and black. The current silver stock Andel works fine. Still, I'd like to be able to keep my 9speed cassette, and keep the bottom bracket if possible. Anyone who's done this, please chime in with brand and model that can be used. I know it's annoying when people want new stuff for no reason. But I do. Thx :)

Hey, I've swapped cranks before. (once)
It was pretty simple. You've got to make sure that the BB matches the new cranks you want on there (ie, octalink vs. square taper) you'll probably end up having to change the chain too assuming you won't end up with the same tooth count on the cranks.
take your cranks off to look at what you need.
Watch videos on YouTube, follow instructions from Sheldon Brown.

Im a total newb, the only way I learn is from doing it wrong once. ;)
