Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Hello Timo.

Going for gloss black this time. Probably won't absorb radar that good.
BTW. Just PM'ed you.

my thoughts are:

1. wow! what an amazing spec for a cross bike. i'm envious.

2. wow! all that record stuff sure seems like overkill on a race rig. this is not meant as a criticism. if you can do it, do it.

Velocipedio: you're right off course. I would prefer a Centaur BB, cassette and chain but I get a nice price for the complete gruppo (ex. brakes) from my LBS. The Record BB, cassette and chain will probably wear down quickly and then I will replace them by cheaper stuff.

Lectron: I replied to your pm

Over the last week the fork, frame, headset and rims have arrived. I will pick up the gruppo later this week. The stem and seatpost have been ordered and will arrive next week. Then I will have to wait for my next paycheck but that's okay. I have lots of time to buy and build before the new season starts
