I have passed many a rider riding, while running. But then I've been passed by a rider running while I was riding too. LOL make sense :)

I am also a fan of the unclip inside foot in a corner technique. For hard turns I like to unclip the inside and skid the rear wheel out into the corner and continue on.

cool videos.

But if you have an uphill after the turn, you have to reclip while climbing. It's a tradeoff.

The thing I like about those two videos is seeing how the riders make different choices. Do you shoulder, or suitcase over the barriers then push?

The sobering thing is how fit and fast everyone is . . . .

I won't shoulder over the barriers unless I know there is going to be a run after it. In some cases shouldering also offers a block to riders behind you. I've gotten pretty good at clipping in and out so even if there is a climb after the corner I'd probably still do it though there is a slight risk.
