Spring Mount (PA)...the longest, most painful and enjoyable 40+ minutes i've had in a long time...the Yuengling Black and Tan i had after the race was better than usual:thumb:
i mean, look at that bike...all-chinese 1990 steel schwinn with neither clip or clipless pedals! chain came off once...lost nearly a minute with that.
looking forward to the next race...and working on my leg power...i got blown out of the water but i did finish ahead of a handful of folks:rolleyes:
i was behind you are the start ubuvelo
i was also right next/behind you at the start haha
good race, little muddier than i thought it was gonna be though
i remember at lap 4 the announcer saying (as i passed) what a 'beautiful' bike...and "ride what you brung" haha...i did. i had the stamina, but not the strength to drag this 30+ pound dinosaur around.
we're looking into the malvern race at phelps (i think)...late november?
yeah i'll be there at phelps school to
from usgp in mercer county NJ in the mud sunday
much much worse, the mud was like peanut butter and it was slow just riding on flat straight sections haha, i have a 2007 fuji cross comp for now with an ultegra drivetrain but im looking at getting a custom circle a cross frame for next season.
I have no idea how I did this. I was embarrassed.
Bitterken at the MABRA CX Championships last Sunday.
I want to see that blue steel bike with the road brake, that's what I'll be doing if I can fit some knobbies on one of my rides.
The more I think of spending new money on a frame to build the more I'd rather look for an oldie.
Cool video, I'll have to start riding with the purpose of getting in shape to actually do this myself. Keep 'em coming!
A few from the last race of the Seattle Cyclocross Series.
For some reason I do not appear to be suffering.
Black and white pics really bring out the grit of CX! Beautiful!
I just got back from seeing my first race and my CX bike comes Monday so hope to be in it next season.
Here are pics of the race and a few funny things I saw, like Santa bunny-hopping the barriers!
Video to come soon hopefully.
"Found a dollar"
"Found a beer"
"Found Santa and a Beer"
And yes, that was in the middle of the Elite race.
Made a video for the first time.
I'll get a lot more shots next time and see what i can put together.
