ADAM CRAIG's single speed setup and feat at NATS

    http://www.cxmagazine.com/cyclocross...nglespeed-2010

probably not news to anyone here, but i would love to know the actual set up of his Giant! was this a TCX Rabobank frame?

amazing how he did this with such power and in such classic, cheezee mode: cut-off jeans and dork helmet.

Great write-up and pictures, thanks. Pushing 70 gear inches through that mud is just crazy. Craig is quite the powerhouse though, that's well known. One of the few pro mountain bikers who uses 1x9 pretty much exclusively.

I'm not really sure if I understand the purpose of routing the brake cable through the stem. The skateboard helmet was ace though.

Mostly it's just to be trick.

With those bartop levers, he'd have to route the housing over the top of the bars anyway (like Katie Compton) so putting it through the stem is a little tidier. It also eliminates the need for a cable hanger in your spacer stack (obviously).
