Eastern Canada BikeFests
Hey, if anyone knows of bikefests in the east, let's share the information, i.e., quality of the event, number of cyclists, cost, website, tips etc.
I've just signed up my family for the Montreal BikeFest in the first w/e of June. The Island Tour is 50Km around the east half and gets about 30,000. Cost for four riders: CDN$ 54. There is also a night ride and a challenge ride but i have to forego those with a familiy in tow. Has anyone done the bikefest before?

It is not a festival but, how about the OBC Ottawa Kingston Ottawa tour in June, it sure sounds like fun.
The is also Italian festival in Ottawa where they have a crit that runs through little Italy.
How about the bike race weekend held in Gatineau? I think the OBC would have information their websight.

I volunteer as a mechanic for the Sunday ride. You should definitely enjoy yourself. Just avoid the relays and go get your supplys from local stores along the route instead. I hate crowds and those relays are the worst.
