How far south for snow free riding over the holidays?

    Hey,
How far south in the US would I have to drive to enjoy some snow free riding over the holidays and New Year?

I know a few local clubs who organize trips/training camps to places like Table Rock Mtn in Sth Carolina, but those trips are usually in early spring.

Would anyone have any recommendations on how far south I'd need to go at the end of December? I don't mind the cold, just don't want snow. I'd also want some good riding ha ha

    Thanks.

Was there any snow in Toronto last Christmas?

I'm pretty sure there was none.

Lots of snow the two years before that.

So maybe zero kilometers. Maybe more.

You have to go pretty far south to be sure of no snow. Probably southern North Carolina or South Carolina to be certain as well as avoiding the mountains.

I'm in Va just right outside DC and the weather is so variable that time of year. There's been everything from a foot of snow to 80 degrees.
You're just trying to start an argument to show how smart you are.

Thanks SS. I was thinking I'd have to go to Sth Carolina at best.
I guess I'll just play it be ear and see what the weather is doing around that time both in Toronto and further south.

Good to know that "cyclist" and "comedian" are not mutually exclusive.
Seems "cyclist" and "helpful" tend to be on this forum though. Shame.

Yes, spending lots of time in Raleigh these days and they had snow this week. Keep going south! Maybe S. Carolina/Georgia.
