is biking allowed at mono cliffs provincial park?
i was wondering if biking is still allowed at mono cliffs. lately i have been wanting to go for a bike ride there but everyone keeps telling you are no longer allowed to bike there. is this true? i can not find find anything on the web about it. i use to like biking there and it would suck if you can no longer bike there.

There nothing on the official park page that would indicate cycling is permitted in the park... why not ride the roads there? Lots of nice hills...

I think I remember seeing the sign that cycling was not permitted there. Great place for a hike though. As clasher says, take the roads it's a beautiful area. Or if you want a trail, Caledon Trailway not too far away is very nice. https://webhome.idirect.com/~brown/caledon.html

People say a lot of things... nobody has notified the cycling community or the park apparently that mono cliffs has banned bicycles. As long as you're within the park limits you should be ok. Like you said there are no official signs or anything posted either.
My bet is you ran into some Bruce trail Conservation type people. Canada's sierra club. Haha, anyways ride with care... follow the trail etiquette rules

Unless there's been a change in the last few months you are ok on some of the trails in Mono Cliffs - those trails where bikes aren't permitted are marked. Part of the Bruce Trail does run through the park but it's not the entire park. Sometimes riders can get on the wrong trail by mistake, just walk till you get back on track. I hike there and have always found bikers to be very courteous.
