From today's Toronto Star: Gardiner Expressway repairs to cost more and take longer
The end result is an increase of $19.4 million – for a total of $662.7 million. And it will take a year longer to finish, in 2025.

The environmental assessment was suspended after Mayor Rob Ford was elected in October, 2010 following a campaign where he vowed to end the “war on the car.”
He's gotta pay for the increased costs he caused ending the gravy train so it comes out of the bike station budget.

Mayor Ford probably never rode a bike in his life. And bikes of the world thank him for it.

Do you prefer your Mayor or one of the many crooks we have for mayor here in Quebec?

On top of that you're stuck with the Maple Leafs !!!

I don't live in TO, however if I did, you're correct ... I would not vote for him. I'm all for getting city costs under control, but not at the cost of progress. Decisions based on car culture over biking is a step backwards, in my opinion.

Btw, what do you mean by 'hoof and poof'. Never heard that phrase before.

In a way, yes. Your mayors were smart enough to resign. Mine isn't.
