Route suggestions near Point Pelee (Essex, Kent, etc.)?
Hello!
A friend of mine owns a cottage near Essex, and we are planning a two-day bike ride in the general area of Point Pelee. We are hoping to do 50-60 miles one day and 30-40 the next (loops). We don't mind driving a bit out from Essex if it will get us better views or destinations (any coastline roads with good water views?). We could park somewhere and do a loop from the car. This ride is planned for mid September. Interesting places to eat/drink would be good additions as well.
I'd be very grateful for any suggestions. Thanks!

It's been awhile, but I seem to remember stopping at Annabelle's Tea Room in Kingsville. https://www.annabellestearoom.com/
Leamington Waterfront Restaurant is close to where the ferry departs for Pelee Island. Pub food but they do serve pickerel, smelts and yellow perch. https://waterfrontgrills.com/
