Vacation near/at the Sandbanks provincial park and looking for a nice bike ride.
Hi, the title says it all.
I'm going on a 1 week vacation at a campground just few minutes away from the Sandbanks provincial park and I'd like to do a few bike ride to explore the area.
Anyone that knows the area?
thanks

Prince Edward County is a great bike riding area - lots of quiet, paved back roads, quiet villages, old agricultural landscapes and hilly enough to keep it interesting. You can get maps here: https://www.bloomfieldbicycle.ca/ . We like the ride out to the lighthouse at the end of Prince Edward Point / Point Traverse, though the road gets a bit rough towards the end. Pack lots of food and water as stores etc. are few.
Also lots of wineries to visit - see https://www.thecountywines.com/ .

I just returned from a week in the Sandbanks park. I did all my riding within the park, but the entire region is great cycling country. Pick a road, any road, and go.

We spent a bit of time in that area a couple of summers ago. Primarily did a wine tour - mostly very flat roads, interesting wineries, nice villages. Just go, there is lots to see.

Prince Edward County is a great area for cycling. Just pick up a map, pack some snacks and water and go.
For a nice meal I recommend The Waring House https://waringhouse.com/barley-room-pub-c47.php
