    Milton Velodrome taking shape.

I was out driving around the other day, and went to take a look at the site to see what progress has been made.

It's located on Tremaine Rd a short distance south of Derry.

Gearhubs demystified and other cool stuff.

I look forward to seeing some competition there. Wonder if a 60+ recreational rider that can keep up a good 25 mph on the flat (for a few seconds at least) would ever get a chance to give it a try?

    Happy New Year everyone

The La Bicicletta bike club has organized some trips out to the Velodrome west of us where anyone can show up take the instructional course and give it a try. I imagine this new one will allow us amateurs a chance to ride around in circles.

We used to have club trips to Montreal and ride the Olympic track there. I'm sure they will have something where you can rent it by the hour - just like skating rinks.
