Looks great dude. Nice job. I like the smaller tire in front, the rear fender, etc. I built a stingray, check it out. Regards, Ron

My 13 year old ORIX 500 Mountain bike 30,000+ KMs with BionX setup with about 6,000 KMs on it. The wife's 1 year old Trek 8.5 DS with the BionX set up with about 1,500 KMs on it.

Thanks 2old, Rides pretty good even with the trailer, as one gets used to the different characteristics and yes I ride my bike everywhere, and yes there is a noticeable difference when I take the E-Assist stuff off and put the bike back to stock...
EDIT; What the bike looses in agility it more than makes up for it with the gain in Assistance, IMO.

350, thank you for your information. I have a front hub with water bottle battery and was really interested in your design. Next for me probably a rear hub with some kind of mid battery. My only off road excursions are on dirt trails or roads in socal since motorized vehicles are prohibited in parks and MTB, hiker, equestrian areas (as I think they should be).

Hi all,
I am a university student and I am conducting some research for my dissertation which is on Electric bikes! I would really appreciate some responses from people with an interest in Electic bikes like myself as it would really help me to gain a better understanding of how other people view the market!
I would be happy to share some results as I am sure some of you would be interested
It will only take 5 minutes and I would really appreciate your help, here is the link:

Finally I've got my hands on my Rubbee 2.0..
First test drive looks promising - 19miles. Hope to increase it after few battery cycles.
Runs good, power delivery feels smooth. Sensor installation was a breeze.
Will update after few more test rides

Where did you get that bottle battery from? It looks really nice and clean with the built in controller.

The battery (and all the other conversion bits) is from BMS battery but it doesn't have a built-in controller. The controller is in a Radio Shack black project box mounted on the top tube.

Here is the Optibike Pioneer Allroad that I bought last Fall. I commuted to work and church this past Winter whenever I could. I guess it's time to take the studded snow tires off.

giant atx 27.5 conversion
2 months ago i was already looking forward of a conversion kit for my genesis folding bike. i tried a front hub but it did not last for a month the key to turn on and the motor on the kit broke due to much vibration. i am leaving in ny and there are so many pot holes and rough road on my daily commute. i came across an article at gizmodo explaining what works well for an electric bike and so i decided to buy this 2015 giant 27.5 atx. i did some upgrades to the handlebar and extend the stem to have a comfortable slight upright fit on me. so here is my ebike conversion...climb williamsburg and queensborough bridge on level 2 mode at 22 -24 miles/hr on a 220lbs. load(motor, battery, rack, bag, double stand, surface computer, water bottle, and me), using pas and thumb throttle combo.
motor - mid-drive 500w, 36v
battery - lithium 36v, 11amp
