Question Bionx 350W users - need input

I'm ready to install a Bionx on my cross bike but I don't want to be limited to 20mph. I tried another ebike and it was very annoying when it stuttered near 20mph. That bike was a MTB - but my cross bike can get to 20mph on the flats without help.
I heard that the code to remove the speed limiter may no longer work. Has anyone installed a 350w recently - and what speeds can you accomplish?
The alternative is a 500w but they are on backorder for quite some time.

    Thanks

I did not install a 350 but a 250PL and I can maintain about 24 mph on the flat, but your gears need to be correct and your REAL motor (you) need to work correctly. I have a 52T on my front and 11T to 28T on the rear. I have not gotten strong enough to get to the 11T gear yet, but when I do, 25 to 27MPH on the flat will be possible. BTW, my bike weighs 47.4lbs. If you want a motor to do this for you, I would not do a bionx kit and look elsewhere with more watts and 48+ voltage.

Did you have to reprogram the speed limiter? I understand newer kits don't allow that.

I did reprogram it, not sure if it does much over 20 or 22 mph, maybe a blip on the energy gauge, just to maintain my speed. It is a newer firmware that is not suppose to have the ability to bypass the 20 mph limit. Of course, I am a lightweight rider (150 lbs)

I had the 250PL before and I found that it's harder to ride 27mph on the flats with the Bionx than with a regular bike. If you lift the wheel, you'll find the no load test is about 25mph.

I believe I have the new controller (the black one) there's a picture of one on the PL350 install photos thread. I removed the limiter just like the old limiter. I did notice it doesn't have the "advanced" features that allow you to see how many miles are left on the battery.
