Can you please provide a bit more information, Apricotha?

What sort of budget are you looking to work within?

How far would he like to be able to ride on an electric bicycle?

Are there any particular styles of bicycle that he likes?

I can help narrow it down, but need a bit more = )

Do you mean he will be towing the kids in a trailer? It might be useful to know which country you are in.

Well, from weighing him in stones and mentioning the UK , I would presume the UK. Although there might be other spots around there that use that currency?

840 is quite a bit of CAD, if I recall. You could buy a good electric bicycle on that budget.

There seems to be a UK based website which has good information and some links to regional retailers and manufacturers.

These guys seem to have 3 dealerships and a good variety of bikes:

Unfortunately, I can't help you directly with pricing out the value of them. I know that the laws are different in the UK for electric bikes, as are the prices. But there are a few step over bikes on that website alone that cost under the 840 pound budget line for you.

If you find any that you like, I will do my best to provide some input on it
